Political Science includes the study of government, politics, public policy, and political philosophy. Political Science classes cover a broad range of topics and involve in-depth study of the behavior of individuals, groups, organizations, and government bodies, as well as examination of the political values that we share. At least as important in Political Science courses as their substantive content is an emphasis on the ability to analyze and communicate in a thoughtful fashion. These analytical and communication skills will be especially valuable in the rapidly changing job market.
