  • Due to their multidisciplinary backgrounds, biomedical engineers have diverse research interests, often acting as liaisons between technological and clinical communities.
  • Biomedical Engineering offers degrees of Master of Science and Doctorate of Philosophy with more than 80 faculty mentors to choose from within colleges such as:
    • Dentistry
    • Engineering
    • Medicine
    • Veterinary medicine.
  • Students also may pursue an MD/PhD degree administered jointly through the College of Medicine and the Graduate School. The combined BS/MS program is an option for high-achieving Ohio State undergraduates.
