The Department of Modern Languages offers advanced study in French, Chinese, German, Greek, Spanish, Hebrew, Japanese, and Latin, as well as a program in International Studies and a program in Foreign Language and International Trade. Whatever program of study you choose, you will experience in-depth exposure to a culture, language, and literature other than your own. You will also develop the skills and knowledge to read, understand, and communicate effectively in your second language. Meanwhile, courses in business, politics, and history will place language and cultural understanding all within context.
