The BBA in Accounting is a very challenging program that prepares students for postgraduation accounting careers. The curriculum is guided in part by an Advisory Board made up of top professionals from the accounting community. Students can specialize in one of four areas within the field of accounting by concentrating their electives in their area of interest: Public Accounting, Governmental or Institutional Accounting, Management Accounting, Internal Auditing or Information System Auditing. Students are encouraged to pursue internships and co-ops in order to enhance their academic preparation with real world experience. On average, 80 students per semester are placed in accounting internships.
