At the pinnacle of these industry segments exist career opportunities as athletic/associate athletic directors, tournament/event directors, and facility directors. Within each of these industry segments, skilled sport managers are needed in fields such as sales, development, corporate partnerships, finance, sport information, community relations, ticketing, booking and scheduling, event operations, ticketing, volunteer management, and event planning.
