  • Students have the option to pursue an initial Illinois Teaching License (PEL) with an Early Childhood Education (birth-grade 3) endorsement and an Early Childhood Special Education approval. If students are already licensed teachers, they can add an Early Childhood Education endorsement and Early Childhood Special Education approval to your PEL.
