As a graduate of the??programme offered by Roosevelt University, you will choose from the following concentrations:

  • Statistics: This concentration prepares graduates for diverse jobs including medical research, drug testing, environment risk assessment, quality assurance, and economic forecasting. Students interested in applying statistics to other fields have the option to combine at least 24 hours of mathematics coursework with up to nine hours in a cognate field (such as biology, chemistry, computer science, economics, education, finance, psychology, or sociology) for a total of 33 semester hours. Students who concentrate in statistics will prepare to teach community college, a career in the industry, or for a PhD program.
  • Computer Science: This concentration allows students with an interest in mathematics and computing to combine at least 18 hours of mathematics coursework with up to 15 hours in computer science for a total of 33 semester hours.
