The Department of History and Political Science offers a range of?programs?and courses geared toward the needs of majors, general education students, and candidates for teacher licensure. Most department courses satisfy University general education requirements in history and/or social sciences. Some courses fulfill general education requirements in foreign culture, diversity or global studies.?

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency such as ECE or WES
Official transcripts must contain course by course evaluation showing that the applicant has achieved a high school diploma
Submit a letter of recommendation attesting to the student’s ability to succeed in college and proficiency in college
Submitting official SAT/ACT score is optional
Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

TOEFL: minimum 80 in IBT; 213 in CBT; 550 in PBT
