This program of study is approved by the American Chemistry Society, and it is recommended for those students who plan to become professional chemists. It provides a broad and strong background in the fundamentals of chemistry and an excellent foundation for graduate school or a career in industry.
What will I study?
Students study general, physical, organic chemistry and biochemistry. Courses also include a basic background in mathematics and physics.
Emphases / Concentrations:
- Students receive a very broad background in all of the areas of chemistry. Advanced courses in chemistry may be added as electives.
