Our program at College of Charleston offers majors the opportunity to study in each subfield of anthropology (archaeology, biological anthropology, linguistic anthropology and sociocultural anthropology). Students learn what each subfield entails and how each interacts with the others. Faculty members are committed to incorporating their research specialties into the classroom, and they represent a broad span of expertise, ranging from the archaeology of complex societies to vertebrate paleontology to popular culture.
- Majors can complete an extensive seven-week field school.
- And majors have full access to the jon morter field laboratory.
