This flexible, advanced-level program allows you to design an area of study that best suits your personal, intellectual, and career growth. Choose a concentration, such as English as a Second Language, technology, autism spectrum disorder, early childhood, curriculum development, assessment, or literacy. Take related elective courses from across the university. A research or field-based project lets you put new skills to practical use.
You have specific career goals. We work with you so you can meet them. That's why we're the most preferred provider of teacher education in Massachusetts. Here, you?ll be guided by faculty who are experienced practitioners, in small classes with personalized attention. You?ll start with a seminar in special education that will let you explore your area of interest and future direction. Then, working with an advisor, you?ll choose five concentration courses and five elective courses. Finish the program with new skills and self-determination.?
