The concentration consists of four courses concerned with the political, economic, legal and social dimensions of international business partnerships and complex multinational operations. The International Management concentration is designed to supplement training in a particular functional area and should be taken together with a second MBA concentration . The International Management concentration includes opportunities for overseas internships and various study abroad programs integrated with the MBA program. The University at Buffalo, and particularly the School of Management, serves a large number of international graduate students from every corner of the world. Students who entered the MBA program in the fall of 2007 originated from such diverse places as China, Colombia, Fiji, Honduras, Germany, India, Indonesia, Montenegro, Taiwan and Turkey. Approximately one-third of each entering MBA class is composed of international students. This creates an extremely rich environment for all students interested in expanding their knowledge of political, economic, legal and social factors that impact international business.
