Students are prepared for career opportunities in dance and related fields. Graduates have gone on to pursue professional performing careers with companies such as Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Doug Elkins Dance Company, The Repertory Project, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, Zivili, Ann Arbor Dance Works, Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, and Hope Stone Dance.
BGSU dance graduates hold faculty positions at universities, teach at private studios, and own and manage their own dance schools. After completing their dance study at BGSU, many have continued their dance education at the graduate level.
Outside the realm of performance, other career opportunities available (some with additional study) include choreographer, notator, historian, company manager, critic, researcher, administrator, theatrical designer, production director, dance videographer, ethnologist and dance therapist.
The Dance programme is offered at Bowling Green State University.
