In addition to core courses in foundations, curriculum, teaching methodology and research, students will match their background and career goals to a variety of programs that permit them to select from elective courses related to their goals.
The degree program requires 36 credit hours. It is composed of 5 core courses? (3 credit hours each) that all students take and 18 credit hours of electives. In addition, students must complete a capstone experience toward the end of the program for 3 credit hours that is in the form of a thesis or a project.
