Wentworth?s Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). You will take courses in drawing, model making, manufacturing technologies (such as computer-aided design and rapid prototyping), user research and design history. Much of your learning will occur through participation in studio-based projects and co-op experiences that are designed to complement the studio curriculum.As a graduate, you will have ample opportunities to create for mass and private markets in areas such as consumer products, education, children?s toys, sports and medical equipment, footwear, housewares, furniture and exhibition design. Many graduates begin their careers as consultants and in-house designers for some of the nation?s leading brands. As they continue their professional growth, they often advance into leadership roles within their organizations, making top-level decisions as design directors and creative managers.
