Program Highlights:

• The program has both thesis and non-thesis options, with concentrations in general history, historic preservation, or public history.
• You are given the flexibility to focus on particular geographical areas and times with a general approach to historical study.
• Most assistantships are in a support role to faculty; although there are some teaching duties available to eligible students.
