• The MHS in Demography program includes a set of core departmental courses that provides a common theoretical foundation for the work of the entire Department.
  • These courses include biological/developmental; demographic; and social science foundations. MHS in Demography students in Population, Family and Reproductive Health also complete a set of specialized courses in demographic theories and quantitative demographic analysis. In addition to coursework, students are required to complete an original essay of publishable quality based on secondary data analysis.
