BSc in Laboratory Sciences at Auburn University is a 4 year, 120-credit program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
These curricula prepare students for medical laboratory careers in fields such as public health, bacteriology, environmental testing, industrial quality control, research, and forensic science.
Graduates may choose to qualify as certified medical technologists, which is accomplished by successfully completing a 12-month training period (rotating hospital internship) in an accredited school of medical technology and passing a national certifying examination.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must graduate from a U.S. high school.
Students must have their foreign transcripts evaluated by an independent credentials evaluator.
Students must complete a sequence of EITHER History or Literature to graduate.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.

TOEFL, PTE, and IELTS scores are only considered official when they are sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS).

The following required documents are:

CV/Resume: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
Academic records: The marks statement provided by the education board after completion of the previous academic qualifications.
Three Letter of Recommendation: A recommendation letter should include information about the student, their connection with the person they are recommending, why they are qualified, and the specific skills they have.
Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
Transcripts: Official transcripts from all educational institutions students have attended.
Online application form: Students have to submit an online application form at the official website.

VISA & Work Study

VISA

International Student and Scholar Services will process an I-20 or DS-2019 (U.S. DHS Certificates of Eligibility) needed for visa applications after students have been formally admitted to Auburn.
ISSS normally receives and processes the admissions paperwork needed to create these documents approximately a week after students have received admission notification for undergraduate students.
This occurs approximately two weeks after students have been fully accepted by the Graduate School for graduate students.
