From studies on the body's reaction to test-related stress and popular culture and psychology, to Appalachian mountain beliefs and religious fundamentalism, our professors impact their field and our students' learning process. The department?offers an experimentally based curriculum designed to prepare students for graduate study and careers in all areas of psychological science or human interaction. In addition to participating in faculty research, students can conduct their own independent studies.
