Speech-language pathology majors enroll at LVC as communication sciences & disorders majors. At the end of the third year, qualified students enter the Speech-Language Pathology Program. At the completion of their fourth year, students receive a B.S. in communication sciences & disorders. At the end of their fifth year, graduates receive a master?s in speech-language pathology.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
Applicants must have completed the following courses: phonetics, introduction to communication sciences and disorder, anatomy and physiology of the speech mechanism, phonetics, speech science, audiology, aural rehabilitation
Applicant must have completed 25 hours of observation of speech language pathologists who hold ASHA certificate of clinical competence
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.3 or equivalent
Submit two letters of recommendation
Submit GRE scores
Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
