The Civil and Environmental Engineering department at Trine University provides BIG university opportunities in a small, student friendly environment. Like big state schools, each of the five major disciplines in the Bachelor of Science in is represented well in our curriculum and our faculty.
Introductory courses for each of the five disciplines are required courses, so students develop a broad Civil Engineering foundation. Several senior level design courses are also available in each of the five disciplines, allowing students to focus their education on the areas of Civil Engineering that interest them most.

Important Dates

Application Dates are accepted round the year.

High school students need to take the American College Test (ACT) and/or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that scores be sent to Trine University. Our code numbers are 1250 for the ACT and 1811 for the SAT. NOTE: the writing section of the ACT and SAT are optional.
Upon graduation from high school, send your official final high school transcript that includes graduation date to admissions. You will also want to submit transcripts for dual credit or other college courses to be reviewed for credit. An applicant for freshman standing who achieves a score of 3, 4, or 5 on the College Entrance Examination Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Examination may be granted credit.
