• MS in Immunobiology is a 2-years program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The departmental research in this area includes defining immune response to certain pathogens and vaccines, antibiotic resistance, B-cell and T-cell immunities, preventing immune-mediated diseases, improving immune function in livestock, and studying the role of immunopathology.
  • The learning goal of the program includes:
    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of scholarly literature in immunobiology.
    • Form testable hypotheses and articulate research objectives that, when met, will lead to significant contributions to the field of immunobiology.
    • Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative research via appropriate acquisition, analysis, and reporting of data.
    • Interpret research results appropriately, integrating them into the existing knowledge in immunobiology.
    • Clearly and accurately communicate research findings orally and in writing.
    • Conduct scholarship, in teams or with independence, in ways that consistently demonstrate ethical practice and professionalism.
