Sports Communication/Sports Media focuses on the methods and techniques for communicating about sports in a variety of formats, media, and contexts.
Students interested in careers in sports communication, such as sports journalism, sports marketing, sports media, or sports information have a variety of paths to choose from. Often students interested in these careers paths choose to major in Communication, English or New Media Studies.

An SAT Reading score of 500 or an ACT English score of 20 may also be utilized.
All international students on F-1 or J-1 visa are required to provide evidence of sufficient finances to support their U.S. education. Sources of funding may be from parents, guardians, or a sponsor.
