Advantages

• Students?are required to supplement studies with?elective concentrations related to architectural practice, such as business, construction management, information technology, visual communication, or interior design. Elective courses may be taken in other departments at Alfred State and students may also cross-register for courses at Alfred University.
• Upon successful completion of the B.Arch degree, graduates may begin an internship and the other professional steps leading to licensure as a registered, practicing architect.? Students may participate in the?Architectural Experience Program (AXP) while enrolled at Alfred State.?
• The B.Arch program provides?a career-focused, project-based education integrating theory and practice with a strong multidisciplinary foundation that draws upon an institutional heritage of building and technology.
