Pre-pharmacy students also have the option of obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the end of their second professional year or fourth year in college. Recipients of the B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences will receive the Pharm.D. after their fourth professional year or sixth year in college. Pre-pharmacy students must complete the following to obtain the B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences:
- Fulfill all course requirements for pre-pharmacy and the Carolina Core
- Gain acceptance into the Pharm.D. program at USC
- Finish the first two professional years in the Pharm.D. program.
