The Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at ACU focuses on the Christian stewardship of sustainable agricultural and environmental systems throughout the world. It is home to several majors including animal science, agribusiness and environmental science.
Students in the Agricultural & Environmental Sciences Department at ACU learn outside the classroom through involvement in mission trips, service-learning, internships and a number of pre-professional organizations, including:

- Delta Tau Alpha National Agricultural Honor Society
- Agricultural Consortium of Texas (ACT)
- North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA)
