- The PsyD program teaches students how to identify and evaluate students who are struggling with schoolwork, exhibiting behavioral problems, and/or experiencing mental health issues and social difficulties.
- In addition to expert-level subject knowledge, students gain practical experience collaborating with teachers, counselors, and families through required fieldwork and internships in which they plan interventions and implement support strategies.
- The PsyD program lets students meet New York State education requirements for professional psychologist licensure.
