An applicant should have a Master's Degree, or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with not less than 55% of marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
If an applicant does not satisfy point 1, however having four years of bachelor's degree should have a minimum CGPA of 7.5/10 or equivalent percentage shall be eligible to apply for Ph.D. admission. The candidate should have demonstrated an exceptional interest in research which shall include prior publications, conference presentations, or other academic work.
Applicants who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent CGPA, shall be eligible to apply for Ph.D. admission.
SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/EWS/PwBD/ Defence Personal (DP) applicants shall be given a 5% marks relaxation in the minimum educational qualifications.
