The candidates must fulfill the following criteria (domestic students):-
- Residents of Maharashtra (domicile)
- Gujarati Linguistic Minority
- All other residents of Maharashtra
- All citizens of India
Eligibility for application:-
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination from India, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects (Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subjects) and obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together
And
- The candidate should have appeared for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) 2022/March 2023/May 2023, JEE-Main (Session 1 and 2), Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023, MHT-CET 2023, and PERA-CET May 2023 and should obtain a non-zero score in this qualifying examination
- Any other criterion is declared from time to time by the Admitting Authority - Somaiya Vidyavihar University.

- Person of Indian Origin (PIO) students
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) students
- International students
