Siddharth University is a state university located in Kapilvastu, Uttar Pradesh. The university offers various full-time courses such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Ed at the undergraduate level and MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed at the postgraduate level in the areas of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Education. Admission to all the courses at this university is entrance-based. The university conducts its own entrance examination for admission every year. Siddharth University offers admission to the UG courses based on merit in 10+2 & and the final selection is done through merit secured in an entrance examination conducted by the university. 

For admission to PG courses, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university. Admission to these PG courses is based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination along with the entrance examination. 

For MA, M.Com, candidates must have 40% and for M.Sc, candidates must have 50% in Graduation in relevant streams. The university accepts admission to B.Ed on the basis of merit in UP B.Ed. JEE and having at least 50% in Graduation. For getting admission to M.Ed, candidates must have a B.Ed degree with at least 50% and the final selection is done based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the university.

Siddharth University PG Eligibility Criteria

MA- The applicants must have passed the final BA degree exam with 40% marks (not applicable for SC/ST) in or after the year 2016. Should have studied Hindi, Economics as a subject in the 3rd year of the degree course for MA(Hindi) and MA(Economics) respectively.

M.Com.- The candidate who has a B.Com or BA (Economics) degree with at least 40% marks (No minimum marks criteria for SC/ST candidates) will be eligible for the Siddharth University Admission 2021. Must have passed the qualifying exam in or after the year 2016.

M.Sc.- Candidates must have a minimum 50% in B.Sc.
