Eligibility and Selection criteria:

The candidate should be a citizen of India, or a person of Indian origin, or an overseas citizen of India.
The candidate should have a BDS degree.
The BDS degree should be recognized by the Dental Council of India.
BDS graduates pursuing internships should have completed their internship.
The candidate should have taken the NEET MDS.

How to apply for MDS?

To apply to KNRUHS for MDS, follow these steps:

Open the website https://tsmds.tsche.in homepage, displayed as follow.
Click on Online Registration.
The registration form will appear. Give your details to register.
After entering the details, click on Validate.
You will receive a registration number. Note it down for future reference.
Enter NEET MDS roll number and registration number for updating the details of the candidate and click on Validate.
The application form will appear.
Fill out the form, then press Save and Pay.
Pay the application fee online.
Keep a printout of the filled-in application form. Submit at the time of certificate verification.
The following documents will be required:
- NEET MDS Admit Card
- NEET MDS score card
- SSC certificate or equivalent
- Study certificates from 1st BDS to final BDS.
- BDS degree certificate
- All mark memos from 1st BDS to final BDS.
- Permanent caste certificate if applicable.
- Internship completion certificate.
- Dental Council registration certificate.

When will the BDS 1st year university exams start for KNRUHS?

Ans

As per the Dental Council of India (DCI), this year (2022) the session will start from January to September. The session will be short (9 months), so according to that your exam should be in the month of February or March. Furthermore if they delay your session it will keep on getting shorter. The second is quite hectic when it comes to preclinical work. So it is suggested that you write a letter or email your university requesting them to start your exam to prevent further delay in your next session.

These are three publications mostly used in Telangana: Osmania, Falcon and Sia. You can choose from any one of them. If you want to prepare 15–20 years papers go for Sia. If you want to prepare 10 years papers you can use both Osmania and Falcon, both are equally good. Buy the new editions so that you can be updated with all the important questions. Also, do not completely rely on the previous years question papers and try to learn every topic.
