It really depends on the person who is evaluating your paper. But most times, if the paper is theoretical, it is true. For theoretical papers, try to write 3-4 pages of answers for 5 marks of questions.
But some teachers do look for quality content rather than length. So, it’s better to write answers with good content but also try to make it a bit lengthy. That should earn you a good GPA.
Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Jalandhar campus maintains a good placement record. In the 2021 placement drive, almost 70% of students got placed through the placement drive. Many companies visited the campus placement. Some of the major recruiters that visited the campus were KPMG, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Byjus, HCL, Mahindra, etc. The average and highest CTC offered this year was 5 LPA and 12 LPA respectively.
Khalsa College used to be associated with GNDU but now it is a different university. Both colleges are good and will provide you with a great experience. Some consider Khalsa to be better than GNDU, though it is a bit expensive.
GNDU has average placements. Being on the main campus won't be beneficial, as students from the regional campus also will take part with you in the placements. Hence, increasing the demand.
Very few companies take part in the placement program and are known to offer fewer job roles. Thus, most of the time students from the main campus receive zero placements.
Both Chandigarh University and GNDU are good in their own respects. The choice varies from person to person.
Chandigarh University:
GNDU:
If you want to join a university without having to go through any admission test, CU will be the right option, because GNDU requires students to appear for an exam prior to admission. The selection then will be based on this.
