Bikaner Technical University or BTU came into existence in 2017 at the campus of Government College of Engineering and Technology, CET Bikaner. The University encompasses all the technical institutions of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jaipur regions.

It annually conducts UG and PG programmes along with various research oriented academic courses at various colleges. All these institutions are affiliated to the University Grants Commission or UGC.

Under UG programs, BTU offers B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Design courses in full time mode. Admission to all three courses are done through REAP counseling. Valid admission test scores of JEE Main, NATA, UCEED are accepted for shortlisting of the candidates.

As per allotment, students take admission into their entered choice of discipline/ program. For final admission, candidate must visit the university to complete their final admission formalities.

BTU Bikaner UG Admission 2023

BTU offers full time 4 years B.Tech and 5 years B.Arch UG program under different streams. These are AICTE and UGC approved programmes that are conducted on campus. Selection will be done on the basis of REAP counselling based on JEE Main scores.

BTU Bikaner PG Admission 2023

BTU offers 2 years full time post-graduation degree course MBA. The course is offered in association with UGC and is approved by AICTE. It also offers MTech in various specialisations and MCA programs as well under its PG programs.

BTU Bikaner Ph.D Admission 2023

Bikaner Technical University also offers a Ph.D course in Engineering, Management and Computer Applications. The minimum course period is 3 years. Interested candidates need to fill in the offline form for it. Eligibility for the respective specialisation is Masters Degree in those relevant disciplines. Work Experience if any shall be considered as an additional advantage.

Selection will be done on the basis of overall performance and merit on the basis of academic record.

How to Apply for BTU Bikaner?

Visit official site of REAP and download the online application form
Fill out the details along with the courses interested in order of preference and pay a caution deposit of INR 10,000/-, which is refundable if admission is not done
Based on allotment, candidates can visit the university for their final admission with the allotment letter.
Candidates need to carry their originals with a set of hard copies and complete the admission fee payment.

Ques. Which specialization is better for B.E/B.Tech?

Ans. It depends on the level of interest. BTU offers different specialization and each one has its unique pattern. Look for the desired course and apply for the available colleges.

Ques. Is there placement training and does it provide 100% placements?

Ans. BTU has an active training cell at every campus that trains students with soft skills, personality development and overall curricular development. It offers 100% placement assistance to students and annually the number has been rising. There are opportunities for internships as well.

Ques. Is there a facility for accommodation?

Ans. Yes, BTU separate hostels for girls and boys.

Remarks:

admission process is very simple and smooth. Eligibility for the Course is 12th 60 percent and by jee mains rank. I find the application form online the cost of the application form is 1600 rs. There are some Reservation Benefits like caste, residential of Rajasthan, Jammu Kashmir student admission process is good but the website has some glitches.
