The candidates will be selected for the MBA program based on the following criteria:

Step 1: The candidates will have to appear for the NMAT by GMAC, and the NMAT scores will be submitted by GMAC electronically to NMIMS.

NMIMS Indore offers the MBA program for a duration of 2 years in 6 specializations.

• The course focuses on three main domains: Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Technology, Information and Operations Management; Management in a Service Economy.
• Three kinds of courses are available for students to pursue. These comprise core and elective subjects, along with experiential ones. Collaboration and project work are accounted for as well.
• A total of 33 courses are to be covered in the two-year duration, with a total of 101 credits.
• After the conclusion of the first year, candidates get to undergo industry training with the institution’s corporate partners/recruiters.
• Students are free to choose electives from the fourth trimester onwards, in the second year of their studies.

Program Structure

• Attendance Requirement: MBA students are mandated to maintain 100% attendance. Though, an allowance of 20% is provided, to account for medical,0 personal, placement, and competitional circumstances. Those with attendance less than 80%, but greater than 60%, shall suffer a reduction in their grades, as per the following criteria:

• Coursework: Continuous evaluation is a key feature of ensuring high standards. Modes utilized are composed of class participation and individual presentation, surprise quizzes, and class tests, individual and group assignments, project reports, viva, and mid-term and end-term examinations.
• Electives: Elective subjects from the domains of Finance, Marketing, Operations, Human Resource Management, Analytics, and General Management (Management Consulting) can be chosen in the subsequent trimesters.
• Examination: The final/trimester exam shall be worth 40% of the total allotted 100 marks for every subject. The remaining 60% is constituted by the means listed in the previous point.
• Summer Internship: The summer internship after the third trimester is supposed to be an individual initiative, despite the overarching efforts by the placement cell. While it provides relevant industry exposure to students, they’re also required to submit their report at its culmination. Its duration is eight weeks, approximately.
• Additional activities: Working on live projects, participation in OBT (outbound training), and competitive, decision-based simulation games are touted as beneficial for trainees. Attending three guest lectures per trimester is a requirement.

NMIMS Indore MBA Scholarships

Various scholarships are provided by the government and private bodies, in order to support the education of students. These can be availed both on the basis of need and merit.

• Under the “Central Sector Scheme of scholarships for College and university students”, an amount of INR 2,000 is transferred to the bank account of the concerned student.
