Candidates can apply for any of the courses in offline mode by sending the filled application form to the university.
Admission to B.Tech will be granted based on the score obtained in JEE Main or SVET.
Admission to B.Arch will be granted based on the score obtained in NATA or JEE Main Paper II.
For B.Sc, BBA, B.Com (Hons) and BA, admission will be offered based on performance in the qualifying examination followed by Personal Interaction.
For B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture, selection is done on the basis of MP Pre Agricultural Test (PAT).
Admission to B.Des and BFA program will be granted based on the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by the university followed by an interview.
For the M.Tech program, students must hold a BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant specializations from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.
Selection to the M.Tech program will be granted based on a valid score obtained in GATE or SVET followed by Interview.
Admission to M.Sc. will be offered based on merit in the bachelor’s degree examination followed by Interview.
Selection will be granted to MBA course based on a valid score obtained in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ SVET.
For MCA, MA, M.Sc. and MFA course, admission will be granted on the basis of merit in Bachelor’s degree examination followed by an interview.
Selection to LLM is done on the basis of All India Admission Test conducted by the university.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% marks to seek admission to the Ph.D. program.
Admission to the Ph.D. program will be granted based on the score obtained in GATE/ NET/ SET or SVET Entrance Test conducted by the university followed by an interview.

Which is better CSE big data analytics at Vaishnav Indore or a plain CSE at LNCT Bhopal?

Both institutes are the same regardless of the branches. The same package of 3-4 LPA is offered at LNCT Bhopal and Vaishnav Indore.

Check the following points before making a decision:

Know thoroughly about both branches and choose the branch where your interest lies. You will be offered different job profiles.
Data Analytics requires Mathematics, especially statistics intensely. Do not choose this branch if you are not good at it.
The average salary in major IT companies like TCS, Wipro is 3-5 LPA while Data Scientists are offered 5-7 LPA.
CSE has great opportunities all over the country while Data Analytics is still a new program. It will not be worth it if you join an IT company as a Data Analyst.
You will learn programming languages like Python, R, SQL, PIG in Data Analytics while CSE will teach HTML, Java, C++, and PHP, etc.

You should go for CSE at LNCT Bhopal as it is more recognized and reputable. If you are interested in Data Analytics, then you can choose it as a specialization in plain CSE.

I have a few friends from LNCT and based on the reviews I got from them, I will suggest you choose the institute if you have the option.

LNCT Bhopal is considered to be among the best colleges for higher education in central India. It is a great option if you wish to pursue a course in the domain of Computer Science.

The college is popular among the student communities for the infrastructural facilities and placement it offers to its students. Each year, around 1000 companies visit the campus of the college to recruit students for various job profiles. Approximately 95% are placed in reputed companies through the on-campus recruitment drive organized by the college every year.

Some of the top recruiting firms that hire students on-campus at LNCT are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, L&T, and Infosys.

Which college is better for civil engineering, SVITS Indore or LNCT Bhopal?

If you talk about civil engineering the scenario is quite similar for both the colleges whether it is SVITS Indore or LNCT Bhopal. Some of my friends are studying in both the colleges and here are some important facts you need to know.

For civil engineering, no core companies visit these colleges. However, a handful of companies might visit the campus ending up recruiting just about 3-5 students. Thus, core branches of engineering are not worth joining in these colleges.
If you want to prepare for GATE or other competitive exams, almost both cities are the same but Bhopal has an edge over Indore regarding the resources and facilities.
LNCT definitely has a higher number of placements with more and more software companies visiting the campus for recruitment. The placement ratio at LNCT remains better than SVITS or any other private college in the state.
Attendance criteria are a must in both the institutes with a minimum of 75% attendance compulsory for good sessional marks. Sometimes, it can be really hectic for you.
Although LNCT has an edge over SVITS due to a better placement record. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at LNCT ranges between 3-8 LPA, while at SVITS the average CTC offered is 3 LPA. The hectic schedule can be a hindrance if you want to do other preparations or additional courses. Here, attendance becomes the main issue as the college doesn’t give you attendance for preparing for competitive exams and so on.

In the end, core branches like civil engineering have the same situation in both colleges. Therefore, all you need to choose in the city and the placement record. In which, clearly LNCT stands higher in terms of both location and placement opportunities.
