Sandip University Important dates 2023

Sandip university offers several courses in the streams of Engineering and Technology, Computer Sciences, Design, Commerce and Management, Science and Pharmaceutical Science, Law, Fashion Designing and Interior Designing. The university offers at least 6 different courses under its B.Sc. programs. The courses are divided into six semesters in three years and each semester includes five electives including university core courses and subject core courses.

• The B.Sc. course is specialized into Computer Science/ AI, ML & VR/ Cloud Computing, IT, Chemistry and Microbiology, Fashion Design, Cosmetic Science and Interior Designing.
• The minimum requirement for admission in a B.Sc. course for students is them having passed their 10+2 examination from any recognized board or university.
• The courses are full time and the candidates have to submit their qualification documents on the basis of which the merit list is generated and admissions are given.

Sandip University B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for all courses as mentioned below:-

• For B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Sc. AI, ML & VR / B.Sc. Cloud Computing

10+2 (Higher Senior Secondary) examination from Science stream with Mathematics from a recognized board/ university with a minimum percentage of 45 for general candidates and 40 for reserved candidates.

• For B.Sc. IT

10+2 (Higher Senior Secondary) examination from Science stream with Mathematics from a recognized board/ university with a minimum percentage of 45 for open candidates and 40 for reserved candidates.

• For B.Sc. Chemistry and Microbiology

10+2 level examination from Science stream with a minimum percentage of 45 for general and 40 for reserved candidates.

OR

3 Years Diploma from a recognized Board of Technical Education/ Equivalent Board.

• For B.Sc. Fashion Designing

Cleared 10+2 (H.Sc.) examination in any stream from a recognized board/ university.

OR

H.Sc. examination + 3 Years Diploma in Fashion/Apparel Design/ Garment Making from an institute/ college recognized under Board of Technical Education /AICTE.

• For B.Sc. Cosmetic Science

Passed 10+ 2/ equivalent examination with Physics & Chemistry as main subjects subject along with one of the subjects: Mathematics/ Biology / Biotechnology having a minimum percentage of 50 for general candidates and 45 for reserve candidates.

• For B.Sc. Cosmetic Science (Lateral Entry)

Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum percentage of 50 (The Candidate should have passed from PCI approved Diploma in Pharmacy from state of Maharashtra or any other state of India).

• For B.Sc. Interior Designing

Passed 10+2 (H.Sc.) level examination from any stream from a recognized board/ university.

OR

H.Sc examination + Diploma in Interior Design from any institute or college recognized under Board of Technical Education/ AICTE.

Selection Criteria

Admission to B.Sc. courses are purely merit-based. The score must be good to be in the range of merit-list.

How to Apply?

Students wishing to take admissions in B.Sc. courses have to adhere to the following admission procedures:-

• Candidates can apply for various courses from the official website’s admission section and download the application form by paying a fee of INR. 1000/- or they can visit one of the designated university Information Centres and collect the application form by paying the same amount there as well.
• Candidates need to fill the application form and submit it online along with all the soft copies of the required documents such as mark sheets and recent passport color photograph. If the form has been purchased from one of the Information Centres then it needs to be filled and submitted there only along with recent color passport photograph and photocopies of mark sheets, etc.
• For the courses where candidates are not required to sit in an entrance examination the merit list is prepared on the basis of the obtained marks (10+2/ Diploma in this case) in their qualifying examinations, the number of applications received and the total intake capacity of the University.
• The university then announces final counselling session dates and admissions are granted along with the news of the session commencement.
• If the result of the qualifying examination has not been declared yet candidates need to mark the appeared section and choose to take admission on a provisional basis until the results are finally out. Provisional registration in a course is confirmed upon a submission of INR. 10,000/- 

Documents required at the time of admission:

1. Self-attested copies of mark sheet and certificates.
2. Scorecard of the National Level Test for the respective course. (if any)
3. Affidavit duly signed by the candidate along with their parents; signature with regard to the disciplinary behaviour of candidate during the entire period of the course.
4. Candidates taking provisional admission have to submit the result in the university latest by October 31 of the admission year.

Sandip University B.Sc. Course Details
