CUHP offers the innovative research-oriented Ph.D. degree in several disciplines. For course completion, Ph.D. scholars need to earn 120 RD Credits in at least 3 years/ 6 semesters while the maximum duration allowed is 6 years/ 12 semesters. The university may consider granting a further extension of 2 semesters above the maximum time limit under special cases for the completion of the Ph.D. degree.
Candidates who have completed M.Phil. from CUHP, will be considered for lateral entry into Ph.D., provided they apply within three years of receiving the M. Phil. degree.
