Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU) was formerly referred to as Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre. It has 75 acres of sprawling campus area situated at 2 km from Gohana Bypass, Jind. Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University is a member of the association of Indian Universities and it’s recognized by the UGC.

Currently, the University has 13 teaching departments offering 26 PG courses which are based on its leading research and strong links with the Global Industries.
It has established various cells and committees like Research Cell, Health Centre, RTI Cell, Sports Council, and lots of more.
It had started the National Service Scheme to promote voluntary work among the students and teachers through activities like Mega Blood Donation Camp, Polio Vaccination Campaign, and Beti Bachao, etc.
University also has Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Students Competency Building and Empowerment Centre, which trains students in the professional fields by arranging various webinars and personality development sessions.

The University has an SC/ ST cell for helping the students belonging to the SC/ ST Categories.
For guiding students, the University has formed a guidance and counselling cell so that students can kick start their career without hesitation in their fields. University has formed a vigilance cell to prevent corruption.
The internal Quality Assurance Cell of the University helps to plan, guide, and monitor the activities in the university so that the quality of the activities conducted in the university can be enhanced.

The Selection of candidates will be based on the merit list of qualifying degree acquired
M.A.	Duration- 2 years Intake- 50 (Mass Communication, Yoga, Economics, English, History, and Education) and 20 (Music) Fees per year- INR 8,490 (for M.A in Mass Communication, Psychology, English, Music); INR 7,290 (for M.A. in History, Education, Economics); and INR 17,290 (for M.A. in yoga) Specializations- Mass Communication, Economics, Music, English, Yoga, History, and Education. Eligibility- Bachelor Degree in any course with at least 45% of aggregate marks (42.75% for SC/ST/Blind/Visually/Differently abled etc. candidates). For M.A. in Music (Vocal and Instrumental), there are other eligibility criteria are as follows: Bachelor’s Degree with Music as one of the subjects by scoring at least 45% of marks (42.5% marks for SC/ST) in the Music subject. or Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with any of the following examinations: ‘Sangeet Prabhakar’ from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad /Rajasthan Sangeet Sansthan, Jaipur. ‘Sangeet Visharad’ from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow/ Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai / Prachin Kala Kendra/Chandigarh. For M.A. in Yoga, there will be a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility condition for admission to Differently Abled candidates.
MCA	Duration- 2 years Intake- 50 Fees per year- INR 21,090 Eligibility- Passing B.C.A with a minimum of 50% marks (47.5% marks for SC /ST candidates). or Passing Bachelor Degree with Computer Science by scoring a minimum of 50% Marks (47.5% marks for SC/ST). or Passing Bachelor Degree (with Mathematics/ Statistics at 10+2 level) with minimum 50% marks (47.5% marks for SC/ST) along with PGDCA or equivalent.
M.Sc.	Duration- 2 years Intake- 50 Fees per year- INR 17,140 (for M.Sc. in Geography) and INR10,490 (for M.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) Specializations- Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Eligibility- For M.Sc. Geography, Passing B.A/ B.Sc. (General or Hons.) with Geography as a subject by scoring at least 45% of aggregate marks (42.75% for SC/ST/Blind/Visually/Differently abled etc. candidates). For M.Sc. Mathematics, Passing B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics/B.A. or B.Sc. with Mathematics as one of the subjects by scoring at least 50% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized by State Universities of Haryana as equivalent thereto. For M.Sc. Physics, Passing B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics/ B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics as two of the main subjects by scoring at least 50% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized by State Universities of Haryana as equivalent thereto. For M.Sc. Chemistry, Passing B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry/ B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the main subjects by scoring at least 50% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized by State Universities of Haryana as equivalent thereto.
PG Diploma in Yoga	Duration- 1 Year Intake- 50 Fees- INR 17,290 Eligibility- Bachelor Degree in any course with at least 45% of marks as aggregate.
B.P.Ed. M.P.Ed.	Duration- 2 years Intake- 50 (B.P.Ed.) and 40 (M.P.Ed.) Fees per year- INR 9,490 (B.P.Ed.) and INR 9,990 (M.P.Ed.) Eligibility-Passing B.Sc. (Physical Education, Health Education & Sports) with at least 50% of aggregate marks. or Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) with at least 50% of aggregate marks.	The Selection of candidates will be based on the following: Merit list of qualifying degree acquired Results of Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
