Ajeenkya DY Patil University was established in the year 2015 as a private University. It is located in Lohegaon, Pune, and Maharashtra, India. It is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).

ADYPU offers more than 35 UG and PG courses in the field of Design, Engineering, Film and Media, Law, Hotel Management, Information Technology and Management.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University UG Courses Admission 2023

Ajeenkya DY Patil University offers B.Sc., B.Tech, BCA, B. Com (Honours), BBA, BHM, B.Des., Integrated LLB, and LLB degree courses at the undergraduate level.

To apply for B.Tech. courses, applicants must have passed or appeared in Class XII with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subject.

Candidates must have passed or appeared in Class XII with Arts/Science/Commerce stream with minimum 45% marks in aggregate to be eligible for other courses. For the LLB program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks.

Aspirants are admitted to B.Tech courses is done on the basis of marks scored in ACET followed by personal interview. Students are admitted to BCA and BHM courses on the basis of marks secured in the Class XII and Personal Interview.

Admissions to BBA, B.Sc. and Law courses are done on the basis of marks in ACET and Personal Interview.

Key Points for Undergraduate Admissions:

For BBA, BHM, and LLB courses, candidates must have English as a compulsory subject in 10+2.
Candidates applying for the BCA degree course must have Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII.
Those holding a 3 years Diploma are also eligible to apply for BHM and B.Des. courses.
Students who have appeared for their Class XII final examination and waiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to the submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University PG Courses Admission 2023

Ajeenkya DY Patil University offers M.Tech, MBA, M.Des, LLM and PGDP degree courses at the postgraduate level.

To apply for M.Tech. courses, applicants must have passed Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subject.

For MBA, candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. For the LLM program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% marks.

For M.Arch, Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in GATE + MAH M.Arch CET.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University offers a Ph.D. program under the discipline of Engineering, Architecture, Design, Business Administration. The candidates who have passed Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.

Admissions to Ph.D. is done on the basis of a valid score obtained in Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET).

Ph.D Admission Process

ADYPU shall admit Ph.D. students through an ADYPU Ph.D. Entrance Test will be conducted once a year.
Applicants who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ GATE/ lectureship or have passed M.Phil. program will be exempt from appearing in the ADYPU Ph.D. Entrance Test.
ADYPU will notify and communicate well in advance all relevant information regarding the Ph.D. Program on its website and through advertisement in at least two newspapers, of which at least one shall be in the regional language.
The list of all the Ph.D. registered students will be uploaded on its website on a year-wise basis. The list includes the name of the registered candidate, the topic of his/her research, name of his/her supervisor/co-supervisor, date of enrolment/registration.

Note(s):

Candidates qualified in UGC-NET (including JM) AJGC-CSIRNET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE (valid score) or teacher fellowship holders will be exempted from the Entrance Test for the Ph.D. program.
Candidates who have passed M. Phil. Program of any other university will be exempted from the Entrance Test for the Ph.D. program.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University Application Process 2023

For admission to Ajeenkya DY Patil University are required to apply in online mode on the official website of the ADYPU. Here are the steps to apply:

Before applying, check the eligibility for that program.
Candidates have to apply to ADYPU with scores from entrance exam conducted by ADYPU or by an authorized authority to conduct an entrance exam.
Based on the scores received by the candidate, the admissions committee will prepare a merit list and will call the candidates for Studio Test (If applicable to that school) and Personal Interview.
GD/PI will be conducted based on the application norm of the respective school. Candidates will have to appear for the Group Exercise followed by the personal interview on the given date.
On the Basis of the score received, candidates will have to wait for the decision from ADYPU about acceptance of the application for admission.
Once the personal interview is conducted, the prospective student is informed and “Offer Letter” may be issued by the university, which may be either for “provisional admission or conditional offer letter” as the case may be.
After receiving the offer letter, candidates have to pay the required registration fee and the student will have to sign an “Acceptance of Admission Form”. Signing of the Application form is mandatory.

Remarks:

There is no entrance exam just to take admission in a specific field me should have 50 percent in 10+2. To take admission we have to meet the admission counselor they provide us all thing. The admission process is very easy we can do it on call also if we have to or we can do admission by visiting in college.

Remarks:

You should be 12th pass from any board they have their personalized entrance exam and personal interview rounds, portfolio presentation, if you clear all of them then you have to fill out their application form and you are in.
