A host of undergraduate courses is offered by Shobhit University in the fields of Science, Arts, Commerce and a host of other specializations. The duration of the undergraduate courses ranges from five and a half years to one year depending upon the nature of a particular course.
The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) is subdivided into B.Sc (Honours) degree and B.Sc. (General) degree both lasting for a duration of three years each. The B.Sc. (Honours) programme is offered in seven different specializations namely, Computer Science, Electronics, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Bioinformatics, Agriculture and Yogic Science. The B.Sc. (General) programme is offered under core subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates aspiring to take admission to either B.Sc (Honours) or B.Sc. (General) course must have passed the 10+2 level examination to be considered eligible for admission. Admission to both the courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying 10+2 level examination.
For the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) honours programme aspiring candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process. Admission is done based on merit of candidates in the qualifying 10+2 level examination.
The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours degree programme is offered in two different specializations such Arts and Yoga. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination and their admission is based on merit in the qualifying 10+2 examination.
The university also offers undergraduate paramedical courses specializing in the field of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery and Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences leading to the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery), BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) degrees respectively. The duration of both the courses is five and a half years each.
Aspiring candidates for both the paramedical courses must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission.
Admission to both the courses is done on the basis of Shobhit University National Entrance Test (SUNET). Admission is also done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination.
Shobhit University also offers diploma courses in field of Education and Elementary education which leads to the D.Ed. and D.EL.ED degrees respectively. The duration of both the diploma courses is two years each.
Aspiring candidates for both D.Ed. and D.EL.ED courses must have passed the 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission. Admission to both the courses is based on merit in the qualifying 10+2 level examination.
For the B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) programme offered by the university aspiring candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline to be considered eligible for admission. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.
Lastly, Shobhit University offers Bachelor of Library Science (BLIS) degree programme to aspiring students for a duration of one year. Candidates must hold a Graduation degree for admission to the BLIS programme. Their admission will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree examination.
