Ques. What is the programme fee for PGP ACM?
Ans. NICMAR offers admission to the 2 Years full-time PGP ACM course. The total programme fee for the courses is INR 13,06,900/- which will not include the living expences and the hostel fee.
Ques. What is the eligibility criteria for admission to the Management of Family Owned Construction Business?
Ans. The institute offers admission to the executive programme of MFOCB. Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the entrance test conducted by the Institute or qualified candidates of CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ CMAT. The final selection will be based on the performance in the qualifying examination along with the interview and rating in the application.
Ques. Is it is compulsory to live in the hostel of the Institution?
Ans. Yes, it is important for the students to live in the hostel of the institute as the course is a full time residential course. Hostel facility will not be given to the part time students.
The hostel fee will not be included with the admission fee.
Ques. Does work experience is mandatory for admission to the full-time courses?
Ans. Candidate with work experience will definitely get preference but it is not a mandatory requirement for admission to the full-time residential PGP course. Work experience is required for admission to the Executive Program.
Ques. What are the skills we’ll develop under Real Estate Urban Infrastructure Management?
Ans. Technical skills are developed through subjects such as accounting and finance, statistics, market research, quantity survey, valuation, project appraisal, construction materials and technology, urban economics, development forecasting, urban infrastructure, etc.
- Managerial and Leadership Skills are developed through management theory and practice sessions on institutional investment, business organization, marketing, human resources, strategy, contracts, quality control, leadership skills etc.
- Analytical skills are imparted thorough understanding of problems and their solution spectrum as related to each field. Application of these skills to a variety of areas such as public transit, urban housing, water distribution networks, etc. is discussed in detail in the relevant course work. The case study methodology along with theory and practice hones the skills of the students in analyzing situations from a practical point of view.
- Practical Skills are imparted through laboratory work/ workshops in business communication, ERP, project management, statistical analysis and project scheduling. On the job training is provided through internships to understand intricacies of practical situations so as to prepare for a better career.
