2 YearsNorth Bengal University imparts professional/non-professional education, research and training programs. The Faculty of Education of North Bengal University offers the 2-years years full time B.Ed program. Fresher candidates with 50% marks (General)/ 45% (SC/ST category) in either bachelor’s or Masters level can apply for admission. Duputed candidates holding an MC/ GB permission are eligible for admission. Admission to the eligible candidates will be granted on the basis of merit.
Aspirants can register for admission by filling-in and submitting the prescribed application form online. The required processing fee of INR 600 (General Candidates)/ INR 300 (SC/ST Candidates) is to be paid via E-challan. Check North Bengal University Admission 2021
Courses of Pedagogy:
Fresher candidates with at least 50% Marks (General Category)/ 45% marks (SC/ST candidates) at Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from this university or any other recognized university are eligible to apply for B.Ed at North Bengal University.
Deputed candidates having an experience of at least 2 years in govt., govt. aided institution are eligible for application, however, they must have to produce original MC/GB permission at the time of counselling.
Selection of the candidates to the B.Ed. program will be done directly on the basis of qualifying degree merit. The merit list will be published by a Notice from North Bengal University and selected candidates will be called for counselling and document verification.

Yes, it is possible to score above 70% at North Bengal University. I have known people from the university who have scored above 70% and even 80% in their subjects. But it also depends on your subject. If it’s a science subject like Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science that's achievable. But it’s a little tough for Arts subjects.
Also, recently NBU started a semester pattern and study. In the semester system, the question pattern was updated and it makes scoring above 80% easy.
Calcutta University is far better than North Bengal University for studying law.
Although you can excel in your academics from any university, choosing a better one will provide you with more exposure. So, if you are interested in pursuing a degree in Law, I will suggest that you choose CU.
