Doon University has released the Ph.D admission form. Candidates can apply online on the official website. Earlier university has also released UG, PG, certification courses application form over the website. Candidates are advised to check eligibility before applying to the website.

Doon University has 8 differentiated schools, out of which School of Languages is most prestigious.The School of Languages has a total of 6 Languages ( English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Japanese.) Doon University is a Public University located in Dehradun, India. It offers UG, PG, many integrated as well as PhD courses. The mode of admission of all of the above courses is online, Through the admission process established by the university. Doon University offers MBA as well as executive MBA degree. The intake of students in executive MBA is 25 and both the degrees are for a duration of two full years.

Candidates should have a Graduation degree in any subject from a recognized University established/approved by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST from Uttarakhand).
Candidates have to appear for either CAT or MAT entrance exams and have a valid score card.

Admission will be based on valid MAT score and the selected candidates have to go through group discussion and personal interview.
Final admission is given on the aggregate marks obtained in all three.

Doon University M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have an M.Sc degree in Environmental Science or basic or applied science with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST from Uttarakhand) or B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology and allied Engineering.
They must have a valid GATE score card.

Doon University M.Tech Selection Criteria

The selection is based on the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by the university. Candidates having valid GATE score will be excluded from the entrance test.
Selected candidates after the written test will be called for an interview.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of written entrance test and interview marks.

Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks from a recognized board of examination in 10+2 examination are eligible to apply.

Doon University PhD Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have obtained an M.Sc./MCA/M.Phil./M.Tech. degree or equivalent qualification from any recognized University in respective subjects.
The seats will be filled through the entrance test.

Doon University PhD Selection Criteria

The admission in the Ph.D. program is based on the merit list followed by an interview.
The candidates having qualified JRF examination conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICMR/ DBT or INSPIRE fellowship awarded by DST or having 2 years of research experience or M.Phil./M. Tech. degree in the relevant subjects with one publication in the refereed journal is excluded from appearing in the entrance test. However, they will have to appear for an Interview.

Ans. Yes, hostels are available for girls as well as for boys. The boys hostel has accommodation for 216 boys and the Girls hostel has single bed/room accommodation for 246 girls.

Ans. The university offers several scholarships to students whose parents earn under the poverty line. There must be proof of the same, and the candidate must be top scoring as well.

I have a few friends from the University and according to them, the faculties are well qualified and quite cooperative. You will also get good international exposure there.
