UPRTOU offers 16 courses to offer across all the streams. At the UG level, the university offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, B.Lib.I.Sc while at the PG level, it offers MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, M.Com, MJMC, M.Lib.I.Sc along with Diploma and PG Diploma courses in a variety of disciplines.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education with English as a compulsory subject for getting admission into BA
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education with Commerce for getting admission into B.Com
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education with Science for getting admission into B.Sc
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education with Mathematics English as a compulsory subject or have a Diploma in IT after 10 for getting admission into BCA

Ans. No, UPRTOU does not accept any national-level entrances for the admission procedure, students are given admission based on merit obtained in the last qualifying examination but the institute conducts an entrance test to grant admission to the B.Ed program. Students who secure valid marks are eligible to pursue the UPRTOU B.Ed program.

Ques. Does UPRTOU offer any reservation provision?

Ans. Yes, UPRTOU offers reservation provision to the students belonging to reservation categories such as a 5% relaxation of marks is given from 55% or an equivalent relaxation grade may be allowed for those belonging to ST/ST/OBC (non –creamy layer)/, Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates.

Yes, as per the admission policy of UPRTOU a student can take admission to UPRTOU while being a regular student of another university but the student can't choose the program of the same degree he/she is pursuing from another university. Ans. Yes, a graduate/post-graduate student can choose a diploma or a certificate program, and a candidate with a PG diploma can choose a certificate program. But for each program, a separate online application form must be filled out by the candidate. It is mandatory that the students let UPRTOU know about the two programs.

UPRTOU admission for the July session is open now. You need to apply online, by visiting the official website of the university. Submit all the necessary documents and pay the required fees. You will need the following documents for applying.

Mark Sheet of 10th.
Mark Sheet and Certificate of Completion of 12th.
Mark Sheet of Graduating and Certificate of Completion (if the course requires).
Character Certificate (Original).
Passport Photograph.
Caste Certificate (if necessary).

The registration fee for general category students is INR 1000, and for the special category students, the required fee is INR 550. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. The university evaluates students based on their marks from the previous level to prepare a merit list.
