Course Description

Shobhit University is offering MBA in seven different specializations namely, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, International Business Management, Pharmaceutical Management, and Agri-Business Management. The MBA program is two years full-time regular course. Any candidate with a graduate degree can apply for the MBA program. The candidates are expected to have a valid score of CAT/XAT/MAT/SUNET. Candidates having valid CAT/XAT or MAT scores are given exemptions from SUNET Exam.

Shobhit University MBA Course Highlights

Shobhit University MBA program is approved by the AICTE. The MBA course is a regular program and a full-time course.
A total of 180 students are allowed to take admitted in different specializations of MBA.

Shobhit University MBA Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for taking admission to MBA courses are as follows:

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2+3 system in any discipline, and from a recognized university. Candidates appearing in the final year can also apply.
The candidate must have a valid score in any of the following examinations: CUET/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ SUNET 2023.
The admission committee will decide the cut-off rank.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA in Agri-Business Management:

The candidate should be a graduate in any of the following fields, B.Sc. in Agriculture or Allied Sciences or B.Tech/BE in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Agro-forestry, Microbiology. OR

Any postgraduate in the following fields: Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Rural Development, Geography, Economics, Information Technology, Bio-informatics, and Forestry.

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be selected on the basis of CUET/ CAT /XAT/ MAT/ SUNET scores.
The shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Personal Interview.

For taking admission to MBA Agribusiness courses, apart from presenting test scores and GD/PI, candidates need to submit undertakings and indemnity, agreeing to the rules and the code of conduct of the University. This Undertaking should be signed both by parents and students.

End-term Evaluation: The end-term evaluation is based on the industry-related research project and viva based on the project report. The assessment process is continuous, the evaluation process comprises quizzes, and assignments, followed by midterm and end-term examinations.

Elective Courses: Students at Shobhit University are opting for five elective courses during the four semesters.

Program Structure: The MBA program structure of Shobhit University is as follows:

Semester I and II course structures are similar in all specializations.
Elective courses are introduced in Semester III and Semester IV. Three elective courses to complete in Semester III and Two in Semester IV.
