Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) was established in 1987 as an affiliated university under U.P. State University Act, 1973. VBSPU offers B.Tech, B.Pharm, and B.Pharm Lateral entry courses along with BA-LL.B (Integrated) at the UG level. At the PG level, the university offers MBA, MHRD, M.Sc., MCA, and MA courses. At the Research level, it offers a Ph.D. course in various disciplines. The online application form can be filled by visiting the official website of VBSPU.

Admission to BA-LL.B (Integrated) program is merit-based.
For UG Courses & MBA (General, E-Commerce, and Agriculture Business), MCA and MHRD, candidates are selected on the basis of a valid score in the UPSEE entrance exam.

Admission to M.Sc. and MA is done on the basis of the Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT) score conducted by the university.
For MBA in HRD, Finance & Control, and Business Economics, 50% of the seats are offered to candidates with the PUCAT score, and the remaining 50% of the seats are allotted to the candidates with the UPSEE score.

VBSPU B.Tech & B.Pharm Admission 2023

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University provides UG courses in B.Tech, B.Pharm, and B.Pharm Lateral entry. B.Tech and B.Pharm courses are offered for a duration of four years.

Minimum eligibility for UG Courses is a candidate must have passed 10+2 or HSC examination in the relevant subject group from a recognized board. For B.Pharm Lateral, a candidate must have passed D.Pharm from a recognized university.

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University offers MBA in six specializations, MHRD, and MCA. Minimum eligibility for PG courses is a candidate must have passed Graduate Degree in the relevant specialization from a recognized university. Selection to MBA (General, E-Commerce, Agri. Admission to M.Sc. and MA is done on the basis of the PUCAT score conducted by the university. For MBA in HRD, Finance & Control, and Business Economics, candidates are selected on the basis of PUCAT or UPSEE based on a 50:50 ratio of seats.

The university offers a Ph.D. in 45 disciplines. Minimum eligibility for Ph.D. is a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Admission is done on the basis of PUCRET conducted by the university. Shortlisted candidates have to appear in an interview round.

Key Points:

Candidates who have qualified UGC, CSIR, JRF, NET, GATE, or SLET or equivalent examination are exempted from entrance examination but have to appear for an interview.
Candidates with a GATE score must have scored at least 75 marks.

First Paper: Consists of 100 questions based on General Awareness and Academic Aptitude for the duration of two hours.

VBSPU eligibility criteria vary depending on the course.

For UG courses such as B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Pharm, etc. students need to clear the 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks from a recognized board.
For lateral entry into B.Pharm program of VBSPU, students need to complete D.Pharm with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
For PG courses, the eligibility criteria are graduation from a recognized university.

No, there is no such prerequisite for doing a B.Ed. Main line of studies like B.Sc, B.A, and B.Com are meant for gaining knowledge in that particular field. Whereas, B.Ed or anything related to education is meant for executing teaching methods, learning psychology of students.

You may get Social Science or English as the main subject in B.Ed.
