Gautam Buddha University (GBU) offers several courses at UG, PG and research level. All the courses are offered in a handful of disciplines. The university has 12 streams under which these courses are provided. Some of the streams are Science, Arts, Law, Management, Engineering and various others.

With the guidance and leadership of dynamic faculty members the university has been accredited Grade 'B+' by NAAC. The institute is also approved by NCTE and COA.
At UG level along with regular courses some professional courses are also provided. Professional courses like B.Tech, B.Ed, B.Arch are offered together with B.A, B.Sc, B.Com. Even the courses of UG curriculums are available in General, Hons., Integrated and lateral. To be eligible for UG curriculum students must pass 10+2 level from a recognized board. The admission is done on the basis of both entrance and merit. Entrance exams are conducted by the university itself.
Several courses are offered with multiple specialisations in the PG domain. Some of the courses are M.A, M.Tech, MBA, MHM, LLM and a lot more. For admission to any of the PG courses, students need to appear for entrance tests and must secure qualified marks to be selected. Students who have done bachelor's in respective fields from a recognized university and passed with a minimum percentage are eligible for a postgraduate curriculum from Gautam Buddha University.
At research based programs, the institution has PhD, M.Phil programs to offer in numerous disciplines. To be eligible for these courses applicants are required to complete master's in the concerned subject with 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Selection will be made on the basis of the score obtained in the written test followed by the interview.
The university conducts GBU-ET for admissions to LLM, M.Phil & PhD courses. Students need to go through GBU-ET and must secure valid marks for selection.
Apart from all these regular curriculum the college has some Diploma, Advanced Diploma, PG Diploma and Certification courses in multiple specialisations. The admission grants to these programs on the basis of merit.
