DEI offers an MBA program in both online and offline mode and the total intake is 60 seats for general MBA and 20 seats for MBA in Agriculture Management.
The duration of the MBA program is 2 years divided into 4 semesters including 1 Work Term (8 Modules).
The entrance test is of 3 levels - Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Recently there is the introduction of Agricultural Management in the programs offered.
The intake capacity is 60 for on-campus MBA and 10% for distance education mode.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute MBA Eligibility Criteria & Fees

For application to the institute, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any stream or 5.5/ 10 CGPA.
The reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD and other categories will be done as per the rules set by the Central Government/ State Government whichever is applicable.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute MBA Admission Criteria

The eligible candidates need to apply on the institute’s admission portal.
The candidate must pass the entrance exam conducted by the department of management, DEI with good marks.
The selection is purely based on his/ her performance in the exam.

How to Apply?

Pay the application fee of INR 270 per course through Net banking or Debit/ Credit Card) using the State Bank of India site by choosing the option “State Bank Collect”.
All candidates will be called for Online Test while only selected candidates will be called for an Online Interview. Admits Cards for Online Test/ Online Interview will be uploaded on the website of the Institute and can also be downloaded from there.

Final Selection:

The final selection of the candidate is based on the following:

Marks obtained in the written test.
Marks obtained in the group discussion.
Online interview.

Course details:

The program is of eight modules (9 weeks per module), where the first three modules deal with foundation, general management and business research-related courses.
After this, they undergo one module of specialization before the six months (two modules) internship in selected industries under the Cooperative Education program of DEI.
During the internship, a student is required to attend two online courses.
After completion of the internship, a student continues with the specialization and general management courses in the last two modules.

Ans. The Management entrance exam is conducted by the department of management, DEI. The exam is of three levels viz. written test, group discussion and online interview.

The written test is MCQ based on four subjects, i.e. Logic and reasoning, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and General knowledge and Current affairs. After this comes the group discussion and personal interview (online).

If you have a score of 90 and above then it is better to join DU than DEI. DU provides enough exposure which will be beneficial for your career. DU is a well reputed institute and everybody is familiar with it, so let me provide you with some facts of DEI, which will help you get a basic idea about the college. DEI is the best institute in Agra. It is known for its cultural and disciplined values. It is affordable and a good option for people without a stable financial background. The per semester fee is only INR 2800. DEI also has an amazing faculty, who are highly experienced and can sometimes come across as very strict. The college is extremely strict and has many rules and regulations which are supposed to be followed at all times. Mobile phones are not allowed on campus. No cultural fests or inter-college competitions are held. You have to attend classes on a daily basis, as there are 150 marks of internal evaluation. Uniform is compulsory. If you want to enjoy your college and prepare for any government services with your graduation then choose DU. Otherwise DEI is good if you want to pursue higher education.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) provides higher education only after class 12th, with the exception of class 10th for diploma and ITI certificate courses. Like DEI there is another institute linked with it named REI (Radhasoami Educational Institute). This institute provides education from classes 1 to 12th. REI has its own board. It provides the 12th equivalent course like CBSE and UP boards. Graduating 12th from REI is equivalent to graduating 12th from both of these.
