Bundelkhand University offers admission in various UG and PG courses in its affiliated colleges. Application process is generally started in the month of April every year. BU Jhansi offers admission in two categories i.e. through entrance test and on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.

  • The university conducts its own entrance test to offer admission in M.Sc (Ag.), LL.M, MSW, MFC, M.Pharm, MASRD and M.Ed programs at PG level.
  • A valid score in UPSEE is mandatory to secure admission in B.Tech, MCA, BHMCT, B.Pharm & MBA courses.
  • Students have to qualify in the University Entrance Test to secure admission in LL.B, BA-LL.B & B.P.Ed programs at UG level.
  • The admission to BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.El.Ed, BPES, B.Com, BA & MA is offered on the basis of marks in the qualifying degree.
  • B.Ed admission is granted on the basis of entrance test as per the NCTE norms.

BU Jhansi UG Admission 2023: BCA, B.Com, BA, LL.B, B.Ed, B.Lib, B.P.Ed & B.Sc.

The admission for B.Com, B.A and B.Sc. courses are done on the basis of Direct Admission. However, admission for B.Sc. (Agricultural Science) is done on the basis of score in the University entrance test.

LL.B & BA-LL.B admission is also granted through University-Based entrance. The admission to B.Ed course will depend on candidates’ performance in the State-Level entrance as per NCTE norms.

University-Based Entrance Test: Entrance Test for all the courses will be conducted at the Jhansi Center of Bundelkhand University. The paper will consist of 100 questions with two sections of 50 questions each.

BU Jhansi PG Admission 2023: M.Com, MHM, MAE, MFC, MBE, LL.M, MFA & MA

Bundelkhand University offers M.Com, MAE, MHM, MBE, MFA, LL.M and MA in various specializations at PG level. Students who hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. Bundelkhand University offers Ph.D. in 39 specializations. The admission is accepted on the basis of score in Common Eligibility Test (CET) which is generally conducted in August every year. while the application process starts from June every year. Key Points:

  • The syllabus for the CET is same as prescribed for NET/JRF examination conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICAR.
  • A few categories of candidates will be exempted from the entrance test for admission in Ph.D. Such categories include Regular teachers of the university, International Students, UGC/CSIR/ICAR/NET qualified and candidates scored 75% or above in GATE.
  • Serving commissioned officer of Army, Navy and Air Force with minimum 15 years if service applying for Ph.D. in Defence and Strategic Studies / Military Science will also be exempted from the entrance test.
  • Exempted candidates will be given preference over the candidates qualifying through the entrance test.

Bundelkhand University follows a common application process for all UG & PG courses. Students are advised to follow the given steps:

  1. Visit the official website of BU Jhansi and fill the application form.
  2. Pay the registration fees online through SBI net banking or through ATM/Credit card/Debit card of any nationalized bank.
  3. The application fee is INR 1100 (INR 550 for SC & ST candidates) for entrance-based courses and INR 700 (INR 350 for SC & ST candidates) for merit-based courses.

Ans. Yes, the exam will also be conducted in Dubai. Candidates opting for Dubai as their exam center have to pay an additional fee of INR 8000.

Remarks:

The eligibility for the course is graduation in a relevant stream if you want admission in B.Ed. with account subject you must do B.com. There is an entrance exam for admission called the B.Ed. joint entrance exam and then according to your rank you can apply for admission online with an application fee of 5000 then you have to go for counseling and document verification and take admission

You can fill out the form from Bundelkhand University's official website. After that, you have to qualify for the cutoff or percentage criteria released by University. There is no entrance exam for admission you have to apply for the course and get admission through cutoff criteria.

Remarks:

As a question, the answer is yes I gave an entrance exam which was UPSEE, in which I opted for B.Tech Biotechnology and I scored 1765 rank in it. All age groups can opt for exam. The candidates should have passed intermediate with up board or any board with 45% marks and 40%for reserved categories. The application form is released in about April and the exam will be held in May. The exam is in pen and paper mode. The total mark is 600 mcqs and the exam will be of 3 hours. The application can be found on its official website i.e. uptac.admissions.nic.in. The exam conducting body is APJ Abdul Kalam University Lucknow. The application fee is 1300 for general and 650 for reserved ones. 21%reservation is offered in this exam. The courses offered by this exam are B. Tech, MCA, MBA, B. Pharm. I Guess no improvement is needed in this exam.

I have passed it for admission. first of all, you have to fill out a registration form from the website of the university then after some days download the counseling letter through the website then come to the college for the entrance exam and wait for the result. then if you are selected you got a mail OR call from the college to come and submit your document and fees

Like every college Bundelkhand University for Engineering also has its merits and demerits. Let me discuss them to give you a proper overview of the college. This will help to get to a conclusion. Pros: They have a highly experienced faculty. The classrooms are well maintained. Various kinds of cultural and sports events are organized for students to participate. Comfortable hostel rooms. There is a central library where you can get books on various aspects. Good climate except during summers. There are a lot of places to visit. The cost of living is so cheap you can survive easily. Cons: There is no canteen facility inside the hostel. There is a dress code for the class. The library facility is not proper. There is often a scarcity of water. No reading room is available anywhere from department to hostel. Most people are narrow-minded, you might not like the environment. Bundelkhand University for Engineering is very good for studies but if you can keep yourself reserved by outside society, you should keep yourself busy by doing things that you like to do and not what your department expects you to do, you should not influence yourself by others be it your roommate or batchmates.

One of my friends studied at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. According to him, the tips provided will only be effective if you follow them properly. He mentioned these which might be helpful for you. Your main goal is to focus on your career and study your course effectively.  98% of the question paper comes from Ekta Publication and Lok Priya.  Mathematics coaching is important as self-study will not serve the purpose.  You also need to solve 10 years for getting a taste of the pattern in the examination.  Prepare long questions for your examinations as questions get repeated from the ten years.  You should be confident to get at least one question in your examination. Staying in a hostel is unhealthy as hostel boys sometimes get bullied by the seniors.  People in the university are too judgemental and full of patriarchy. They never waste a moment in harassing the college students here.  You can be friends with your batchmates, however, be careful who to trust.  Studying at this university is not a cakewalk. You will be facing food and water problems due to heat in the summer. Canteens don’t have any special food and the curriculum is the same as the other university.

One of my friends studied at Bundelkhand University. According to him, the crowd is very lively and prefers enjoying themselves on the weekends. There are a number of things he mentions, you can do as a student here during the weekends: Firstly, you could visit the historical Jhansi Fort and enjoy the view as the city lights up in the evening. You can explore the beautiful sanctuary in Orchha. However, be careful and stay away from the river. Picnics often take place in the Sukma Dukma, Mata Tila, Pahuch Dam. This is how many students prefer spending their leisure time. Rani Lakshmi Bai park makes an excellent place for morning walks and runs. You can visit the Sadar Cantonment and Topkhana Bazar (be a bit careful as it is often crowded). Savor the Maggi, chicken soup, and chicken momos. There is a tea junction near the medical college which links you to the main road. The Mustara Village near the University is beautiful as well. If you prefer sports, you can both be a viewer and a participant in indoor and outdoor games. Therefore, there are a lot of things you could actually do at Jhansi during the weekends. Being a student at Bundelkhand University, there is not a single time you will feel out of place, as it has a very welcoming place and crowd.

This is actually a difficult decision, as it varies among every individual. Go for a drop only if you are confident enough and well prepared for the exams next year. If not, it is better to join the college and make it count.  B.Tech is overall a very good course with lots of scope for scoring good marks and learning new things. Though Bundelkhand University may not be one of the popular choices for students to opt for B.Tech, if you want to study here, it is fine.  It is suggested that if you are an average student do not drop a year but go for Bundelkhand University. Remember that while studying there try not to meddle with the local people as it could sometimes take a wrong turn.

Here are some facts about the university.  It is located in the historical place of Uttar Pradesh.  The university offers 104 different professional, technical, vocational and research courses.  It has 40 institutes with reputed affiliated colleges. The eligibility to get admission is an aggregate of around 40% in your secondary examination.  You need to give an entrance test for joining the institution.  It has received various awards from the central and the state university.  It has numerous courses in its specialization.  The college and hostels are wifi-enabled.  Categories Bundelkhand University Course Fee 3.04 lakh Placement Percentage 70-80% Highest CTC 18 LPA Average CTC 3.6 LPA Recruiting Companies Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Overall, the campus is lush green with 186 acres.
