Kota University is a well recognised affiliating University Rajasthan with more than 175 colleges affiliated to it. University has a well developed and experienced faculty of 23 Academic staff members for rendering education of UG, PG and doctoral courses in multiple specialisations. Admission to the UG courses like BSc and B.Pharma are given on the basis of of merit scores achieved by the students in class 10 + 2 to board level Examination whereas for PG courses other than M.P.Ed., Kota University conducts entrance examinations on the basis of which admission is granted to the candidates. However the candidates have to secure minimum required marks for taking admission in UG and PG courses. Besides this, Kota University also provides relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories SC, ST, OBC, SOBC & PH.

The university provides a lot of internship opportunities to the deserving students so that they can learn the skills for achieving jobs in off campus placement programs. Kota university PG Eligibility Criteria

For admission in M.Sc., the candidate must have completed bachelor's degree examination with at least 55% marks in the aggregate from a recognised University.
For reserved categories: SC, ST, OBC, SOBC & PH, qualifying the bachelor's degree with passing marks is sufficient for admission.

Kota university Doctoral courses Eligibility Criteria

For M.Phil and Ph.D. courses, the candidates must have completed master's degree examination from a recognised University and must have scored at least 55% marks in the aggregate whereas for reserved categories it is 50% marks.
The outstate candidates have to secure 60% marks in the aggregate in master's degree examinations.

For admission in to the different specializations of M.Phil. and Ph.D., the candidates have to clear the entrance examination conducted by the University.
The candidates who have qualified the CSIR NET/ GATE/ UGC-NET are exempted from appearing in entrance Examination.

Yes, Kota University conducts entrance examination for all PG courses other than M.P.Ed. Students need to secure the minimum required marks in the qualifying examination as well to be eligible to take admission. Kota University has 5% marks relaxation for students from reserved categories, i.e. OBC, SC, ST, SOBC, and PH.
